Nanny's Message to Families

I have feed, burped, wiped tears, changed nappies, played and hugged many children in my life. I have completed NZQA Level3 Early Childhood and Care Certificate. This is a NZ Qualification for a au pair/nanny, I may not have the experience as a au pair/nanny but I have the determination to be one that a family would love and also in time I would like the family to think of as me as a older sister or aunty. I have been looking after and bringing up children since I was 9 years old so I have the experience with children just not technicaly as a au pair though I have had work experience at early childhood centers. I am a family person who can adjust to any living situation, make friends easily. I may not be the fittest person but love to play sport not really a swimmer though a bit shy but when I do I am a fish. I have lived in Western Australia before and would like to return as I like the way of life and I also have some family members and friends still living there. I love working with children and have the imagination and patience with any child. My father is NZ caucasian and my mother is NZ Maori which has made me a very versitile person. I can have fun and play but also know when to be stern and take control when a child misbehaves. So in all I think children are our future and love to nuture and care for any child.
