If you are looking for a conventional, common babysitter, then I'm probably not the type for you. I'm a 29 year-old with an extremely varied work experience in incredibly varied settings, thriving to think out of he box and with a very positive outlook on life!

As a child, I grew up in Argentina within a British family, so my mother language is English and I am a native speaker. I'm also bilingual native of Spanish, and can manage intermediate French.

After working a few years as a self-taught software programmer, I found my true calling in education while volunteering as a reading teacher. From then on, I have devoted my professional (and some of my personal) life to education, earning my postgraduate certificate in Education and Psychoanalysis and working in different educational projects, mostly in NGO and government settings.

I'm now travelling the world, and after spending a year in India, I have come to Europe to settle for a year or two.

In most of my work I have been involved in both the managerial aspects of projects and in the pedagogical side, especially in tutoring, mentoring and counseling. This experience has given me the confidence to approach one-to-one teaching experiences with creativity and to merge the educational process with daily life. I have worked in several residential schemes and have always felt comfortable with the work’s modality, and feel that the combination of life and work into the same thing is a very healthy way of approaching both.

As a subject teacher, I have taught English, Spanish, IT and Mathematics, and participated in many non-formal projects in arts, sports and recreation. I love outdoor activities and sports, and have played many (football, rugby, tennis, swimming,…) and taught some (football, swimming,…). I consider myself, and thrive to be, a multi-oriented person, and there are only a few things I am not genuinely interested in. In addition, I am always eager to learn and get involved wherever I may come in handy.

I speak British English with a fairly neutral accent, native-level Spanish and intermediate French. I can also manage some Italian, Portuguese and Hindi. I have worked, as well, several years as a freelance writer and translator, and I’m passionate about books and about writing. Well-travelled in Europe, Asia and the Americas, I’m a Christian that has studied all major religions and appreciates their virtues with a very open mind.
