My name is Annie and I would like to meet you! Currently, I am living in Minnesota and would love a change in location. Whether that is a new state or new country all depends on where the right job is. I am certainly an animal lover (especially dogs) and would be all the more inclined to work for you if animal care was part of the job description. My philosophy in childcare is that I am an aid to the parents. How you choose to raise your children is how I will care for them as well. I will be loving, affectionate, playful, and patient with your children under all circumstances, but I will enforce the behavioral guidelines you set for your children as well.

My entire educational experience has been in private school, including a college prepatory high school and three years of university. Since the age of two, I have lived in a single parent household and my mom taught me to be very self-sufficient from a young age; therefore I have grown in maturity past my 22 years. In 2009, I lived and attended university in Auckland, New Zealand, which was my first experience abroad and allowed me to fall in love with travel, new people, and new cultures. I also had an amazing experience working as a live-in nanny for a french family in New York.

As a person, I am always in a good mood! It is very rare to see me without a smile on my face. I am a very adaptable and social person, so being around new people and having a flexible additude come naturally. I am comfortable with driving, helping with English skills, managing schedules, running errands, and household chores. I am also open to a position that involves travel, whether that be coming along to help you during your time away from home, or keeping up the home front while you are away. My one absolute requirement is that this is a position with living accommodations, as I am looking to move to your city. I know my way around a kitchen for simple meals, but with a cookbook and a little time I could manage just fine. I already make irresistible desserts.

If you are interested in a Personal Assistant:

I have been working since the age of thirteen and understand the value of not only a good employee, but a good employer as well. My ideal situation would be a boss (or bosses) that I am comfortable around and able to be honest with. I have found that things run much smoother if problems are promptly ajority of my experience has been as a nanny, although I find that many things from that field translate into this one. I am well versed in duties such as: setting up daily activities, keeping schedules, putting out fires (hopefully in just the figurative sense), arranging travel plans, caring for animals, and just about anything in the kitchen. I have never been a personal assistant, but I am good with people, punctual, a quick learner, and a low stress/high productivity type of person.

If you are interested in a Nanny/ Au Pair:

I grew up with over thirty cousins, with whom I am still very close. I am on the older side, comparatively, and spent my weekends and summers babysitting. From there I started taking jobs from cousin's friends and soon found a family for whom I've been nannying for six years with varying regularity. This family is now like my own and my hope is that yours will be as well. I have cared for children as young as newborns, although I don't not have any professional training in infant care. This past winter I worked as a high school ski coach, spending my weekday afternoons with twenty or so teenage girls. Although they could be a handful at times, I loved almost every second of it. I am coaching again this year through February 2012.

If you are interested in a senior or disabled care giver:

I do not have any professional training in this field. I do, however, have a little experience. My paternal grandfather suffered multiple strokes and heart attacks before his death. I was not old enough at the time to do much, but I was aware of what was happening and I am not uncomfortable with the challenges that come after these events. Both my paternal grandmother and maternal grandfather suffered and is suffering from dementia. My grandmother and I spent most weekends together while she was living with Alzheimer's, which allowed me to understand how to keep my interest and patience in both conversation and activities. My mother has also needed some care in the past. She has had a few invasive surgeries and a severe injury all which required round the clock care. These instances were for weeks at a time only, but I gained exposure to duties like bathing, medication schedules, and entertainment options for someone stuck in bed
