A little about me:

Overall, I have had over twelve years of childcare experience! This includes over three years of au pair experience in Turkey, France and Iceland, and have been teaching art for the past three years here in the US. During all of my au pair experiences, I have taught English to the kids in the family, and once at the local language school! During my au pair experiences, I was also a personal assistant for many of the families.

I ABSOLUTELY love working with children!! I have also taught swimming lessons for six years (while life-guarding) and have first aid training. I feel it is important to become a big sister in the family, balancing responsibility and respect, while really get to know the kids and have fun!! I want to be an au pair and educator that kids look up to as a role model and as someone who inspires them to be passionate about life and discovery! We will do lots of outdoor activities together, and enjoy fun creative art projects!

I believe in the importance of family and spending time together. I love learning about, and immersing myself in other cultures and am passionate about traveling. In 2005 I also studied abroad in Florence, Italy and truly enjoyed every moment of it! I love the outdoors, animals as well! But, most of all, I'm looking for a caring, adventurous, creative family who will accept me as one of your own : )
