Dear Family! Thanks for considering me. I am a 23 years old Girl from the centre of Germany where I used to live with my parents and my younger sister. Right now I live about 2 hours away in a little city called Ilmenau where I am studing Media economy.

It is not really important which country I go to but in any case I would want to take part in language classes. This is very important for me since I really want to learn a new language aswell. So somewhere in the daily schedule there must be room for that and possible facilities. Thank you!

The main reason why I want to become an pair is that first of all I like to be with children. I went to London for 2 month sommer 07 to work as an aupair with children in the age of 0,2,4. I had a great time. After that I lived in Sweden for about one year. I took care of two boys aged 6 and 8. Last summer I liveed in South Africa where I took care of a 10 months old baby girl. Before all of that I did plenty of babysitting jobs.

I lived in Sweden for about a year and worked for a Swedish familiy with two boys 5 and 8 years old. My duties combined household and mainly the children. I fixed the boys in the morning and left them in school and kindergarden. Then I did the laundry and some other light household duties. I am aswell responsible for ironing, shopping and cooking. I picked the boys up in the afternoon and played with them and helped with the big boys homework. In South Africa I was responsible for a baby girl. My responsibilites included everything regarding daily life. I took care of her in the mornings, played with her, prepared all her food, went with her outside and planed activities like going to a cheetah park. I aswell took care of her during nights.

I speak English, German, Swedish fluently and some French. And I will participate in a Spanish course in summer. I made the experience that even if you cannot talk to the children, that you can build up a connection. I learned Swedish really fast. After one month I got a basic knowledge of the language and I fastly found a way to talk with the boys. I love it when they tell me stories. I also made a practical training in kindergarden and I gave tutoring. I think it is easy for me to build a connection between me and children, because I consider me to be a out-going and friendly person. I have got plenty of references for you.

I am very sportive. I play tennis, do watergymnastics (which I started in Sweden and which is surprisingly refreshing) dance several times a week. I love biking. In winter I go skiing. I like traveling, meeting new people.

I aswell worked in a kindergarden as a English teacher three hours a week. Unfortunately I had to stop it because the times didn't match with my studies :(
