About us: I'm Andy, an Electronics Engineer from Lancashire, England. I own an engineering company here in Charlotte, NC and get to work on all kinds of cool projects like putting lasers on robots and blasting holes in gas tanks! Heather was born in Concord, NC but grew up in Johnson City, Tennessee. Heather suffers from back problems and fibromyalgia and is in a lot of pain daily, so struggles with the housework which is one reason we are looking for some help. We are both smokers but we go outside to partake in our dirty habit.... Heather currently stays at home but would like to get a part time job to get out of the house if we had someone like you to meet the school bus (right outside our house) to drop off & pick up Kieran. Kieran is a very funny, creative and smart kid and can be a handful sometimes - they just ran a barrage of tests on him due to his bad behavior at school and discovered he has a super high IQ but is a little behind with social and behavior skills, which probably means he's going to be an engineer like his dad (though he says he wants to be an architect). We all have a wicked sense of humor and are not easily offended, so if you are easily offended then you may want to look elsewhere... but if you are smart, funny, honest, organized, have a great work ethic and like what you read here, then get in touch !

We are looking for a live-in to help with housework, light yard work, occasional cooking, shopping/errands, and to help keep our very hyperactive but smart and funny 5 year old Kieran busy so he stays out of trouble! We can provide lodging, food, use of a car (Pontiac Firebird) and weekly pay around $200. We live in a house with an in-ground pool and 1 acre beautifully landscaped yard next to a small private lake in Fort Mill, SC just off exit 88 of i77. We are approx. 3 miles from Lake Wylie and we just bought a small speedboat to take out on the lake. The available bedroom is a good size and has on-suite with a shower. You would have full use of our kitchen and washer/dryer.
