Nanny's Message to Families

Hi , I a full time Australian University student who is looked for a nannying or aupair position in the university holiday (end november 2008 - feb 2009). I am currently studying B. Rural Science at University of New England and have a High Distinction average. i have extensive experience with children of all ages. I worked as an nanny last year in the UK over the summer. i have also worked in a child care centre for 5-12yrs old for four years, first as a care assistant and then as assistant co-ordinator. in my role i supervise children, prepare light meals and enagage in stimulating play and crafts with them, as well as program planning. however my experience is not limited to this alone. in my final years of high school i led the student "Young Farmers" program which saw me plan, organise and implement activites for 12-17yr olds. as the eldest in my family i have been helping with the care of my younger brothers for many years,(they are especially grateful of my help with homework). my brothers also appreciate my love of cooking! I am bright, bubbly and enthusastic and love working with, looking after and playing with children of all ages. i am responsible, mature, hardworking and willing to look after children of any age and help with housework. i find caring for children and watching them grow is a very rewarding experience (though challenging at times!) and i hope that you share this view.
