Au Pair job description

Mom living at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada location seeks Brazilian, Mexican or French au pair to help with 2 active girls aged 7 and 10. Duties include preparing meals for the girls, drop off and pick up from school, and taking the girls to and from after school actiivites. Light housekeeping (laundry) also required and some very basic meal preparation. Lodgings are in a new condo at the university, close to restaurants, coffee houses and 20 minutes to downtown. Computer with internet available for the au pair. Girls spend 1/4 time with their dad who lives elsewhere.

Family's Message to Au Pairs

I am seeking an au pair who is flexible, outgoing, warm, and responsible. Both children are girls: aged 7 and 10 - one goes to French school, the other attends English school. When not in school, the girls are busy with activiites like soccer, dance, choir, and drama. Job would suit someone between 22-28 years of age who likes children, is comfortable with children, and is capable of looking after them, monitoring them, as well as being willing to perform light houskeeping duties. Must be a competent driver.
