Au Pair's Message to Families

Dear Families, Hello, my name is Kait (like Kate) and I'm 20 years old. I would say I'm very open-minded and I love to travel to different countries. Ever since I was a child I have wanted to explore the whole world! That's why I decided to become an au pair. I was an au pair from April 2007 until February 2008 in a small village in Bavaria and I enjoyed it so much I'd like to do it again. I also really want to practice the German I've learned! I can speak fluent English as I'm American, some French (learned for 5 years in school), and certainly some German. My level of comprehension in German is high, however, I make many mistakes while speaking! What can I say, it's a tough language.
