Au Pair/Nanny job description

Our family is looking for an au pair to look after our 2 boys (2 yrs and 4 yrs). The position could commence as early as January 2008 in a part-time capacity (approx. 3 days/week). Responsibilities would be playing with them, taking them on outings to the zoo, the science centre, parks around the city, making lunches and snacks, singing songs, making crafts. The right candidate could be a live-in or live out. Salary is negotiable.

We are a laid back, easy going family of 4. It is important to us to laugh lots each day and treat one another kindly. Our 4 year old loves sports, building things, coloring and reading. He has an inquiring mind and endless amounts of energy - he always wants to play. Our 2 year old loves to do whatever his older brother is doing. We are looking for an au pair with whom the kids love to spend their time; someone who can follow through with our established routines and expectations. Consistency is very important to us.
