Nanny job description

We are seeking an educated, very energetic, honest, organized & patient caregiver who will play with us, read to us, take us to the park, the zoo, museum, etc. You will give us meals, bathe and dress us (although I can do some of it by myself now), and help put us to bed. You will travel with us on a few vacations a year as well. You will help with some household chores, like occasionally shopping for groceries or clothes for us, but this is NOT a combined nanny/housekeeping job, as we have a regular housekeeper for the heavy cleaning. We will learn a lot from you, and grow to love you, and we want someone who shares our family's values and genuinely wants to join our family as our caregiver, as our nanny will become part of the family.

We are three young girls, ages 4, 2, and infant. Our mom is stay-at-home now, but she needs an extra set of hands while she is around, and someone to take care of us when she is out doing errands. We are seeking someone who will look forward to spending time with us every day - as we will be looking forward to spending time with you. My sisters and I are really great and generally well-behaved; I am a fun 4 year old who loves to play outside, and read and do arts & crafts, and my 2 year old sister is a real joy, except when she wants to play with the same toys as me. Our baby is very cute, but sometimes mommy needs to take care of her so can't play with us as much as we'd like. We are a young, easy-going family, and our parents believe communication is key when having someone care for us in our home.. and hope you feel the same way. We are looking for someone for whom childcare is their career choice, as we don't want to have to say good bye to you after a short time with us. If you like our parents and us, and we get along well with you, we'd like to know that you can play with us for years to come. We are located in NJ, right over the bridge from New York City, which is a very short 10-minute bus or car ride away.
