Au Pair job description

I am American and my husband is French. We have three boys and a girl. We live in beautiful Denver, Colorado. We are looking for a French AuPair to come in early September 2008 for one year. This is a wonderful opportunity for a mature, responsible AuPair who loves to play with and teach children. We need an AuPair who has a very good driving record and who has an excellent French grammar level and is able to help tutor our kids in French (we have a French teacher for the CNED program : Centre Nacional d'Education a Distance. Our oldest son will be in 4eme, same program as for kids his age in France). If you are someone who is flexible and likes to take initiatives, has a good driving record and has very good French language skills please contact us for more information.

Family's Message to Au Pairs

Hello! 4 children we have! But, they are well-behaved and fun children. We are an American family with a French twist. My husband is French but I am American and our four children speak English and French. We are looking for a caring and fun French Au Pair who loves children and is ready to share our family life in Denver, Colorado, for a period of one year beginning in early September, 2008. When the Au Pair arrives at that time, our oldest son Sinclair will be 12½ years old. Our second son Chandler will be almost 11 years old. Our youngest son Cyprien will be 8 ¾ years old. And our daughter Sydney will be be 5 ½ years old. All of the children are in school full-time. You would be our 10th Au Pair. Our Au Pairs have always had great experiences with our family. They work about 40 hours per week. I work from home, so the Au Pair is my “partner” in helping with the children.
