Au Pair job description

Daily activities and care for a 2 year old girl and a 5 year old boy. Most of the time will weekday between 0745 and 1600 with occasional evenings and a weekend day. The 5 year old will be attend a preschool 5 mornings per week, so that time will be with the 2 year old girl only. Our 9 year old will need afterschool companionship and homework help occasionally. Keeping children to a schedule is important to us with some flexibilty occassionally. We also have high behavior expectations for our children and would expect your support in that. We need someone that is easy-going, fun-loving and who values the christian religion to influence our children and to become part of our family.

Dear Au Pair, We are seeking a Christian who will become a part of our family for the year that you are with us. We have lived in several countries and are seeking an international au pair for the cross-cultural flavor you will provide for our children. We are no longer a paid member of Gre. We are a tradtional family. Both parents work and our 9 yr. old attends a private Christian-based school. She is a fun-loving, inquisitive kid who is very excited about the prospect of a "live-in babysitter." Our second child is 5 years old and is very energetic, loves music, is always learning something and has an amazing command of English- we are hoping you can help him with a second language. Our third child is a little girl that we have adopted. She is 2 years old, sleeps through the night very well, is very easy-going and smiles most of the time. We have a four bedroom house. You would have a room with your own ensuite bathroom --both of which have just been remodeled. We enjoy different sports activities, attending the theater and symphony. We like to go for walks, play games, camp and visit friends and relatives. We believe that it takes more than parents to raise a child well and would truly value your impact on our children. Reading books, disciplining, guiding, playing with them, etc. would be top things on our list as your responsibilities.
