My name is Maggie, and I am an 18-year-old (19 in September) American girl, who loves travel, politics, children and photography. I am looking for an exciting experience in a foreign city to take a break between years of college. I am currently a sophomore at Barnard College, the women's college of Columbia University in New York City, and am majoring in Comparative Politics. I am ready for a change, however, and would love to discover a new city, culture and society. I am very mature for my age. I am an outgoing, hard-working, reliable and flexible person, and am always willing to help anyone. I have experience in teaching and caring for children through babysitting in high school. I am also willing to drive, and can handle manual transmission. I would also love to learn another language, and am already semi-fluent in German and am currently learning Hebrew in school. I can also teach your children English. I am looking for an open-minded, interesting and exciting family to open their hearts and their home to a great au pair like myself.
