Au Pair's Message to Families

Hello there, dear family! My name is Joan. I am currently working as an aupair for a family here in Norway and I am very fortunate and happy to find a good family through this website. Being an aupair here in Norway has been a very good experience for me. Meeting new people, gaining new friends, learning the language and culture and visiting all the wonderful places in this country. I previously worked as an aupair in Denmark for two years, too. And I would like to go and see more of the world, and being of help to families, at the same time. I used to work with kids most of the time when I was back in the Philippines. I was a store supervisor in the toys department of the one of the largest chain of malls in our country. It has been fun designing and holding activities for kids. In my spare time I love to read, ride my bicycle, watch movies, visit new places with my friends, write letters to my friends and family back home, write poems and listen to music. Right now, I am excruciatingly learning to play the guitar. I will be saying goodbye to my wonderful Norwegian family on November 2010 and if you need someone who will be of help to your kids, I will be available by then.
