Nanny job description
Seeking an energetic, outgoing, patient Nanny for our two children - ages 4 and soon to be 1. Would like to find someone who can be firm but caring. There are behavioural issues that will need to be handled - all surrounding meals (our son is very picky). The Nanny would hopefully arrive after breakfast has been finished and bring our son to the school bus (he is in JK). Nanny would then care for our daughter for the morning and then collect our son from the bus before lunch. After lunch, the baby naps and our son does as well somedays and on other days he could spend some time with the Nanny doing a craft or playing with toys. When there is time we would ask the just a bit of light housekeeping be done but the number one priority is to take care of our children and ensure they are safe and happy - and well behaved! On occasion we may ask that supper be started before we arrive home in the afternoon.
Family's Message to Nannies
Dear Nanny, if you love children and are up to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our son and daughter during the weekdays, please contact us. We live in Ottawa, a great city if you don't already live here, and are seeking someone to start fulltime in Feb/March 2010. Preferably we would like to start slowly - parttime for a few weeks to ensure a smoother transition for everyone. We live in a single family home with plenty of space to play in the backyard and there are several parks in the neighbourhood.
