This family have been through 6 nannies over the past 2 years. I will state that I did not work for this family for very long, however a great deal happened in the short space of time that I did work for them. You are expected to work 60-70 hours per week with no extra pay. The pay this family offer is well below average for the responsibilities expected of you and the hours you work. The children are not well behaved, often talk back. The Mum is very difficult to please. The Mum is often by screaming and shouting. The Mum put me down on several occasion in front of the children. Apart from being materially inaccurate and a misrepresentation of the truth in every aspect, it is clear that this nanny has personal issues to resolve (too numerous to mention here) that have nothing to do with the job. We have not had six nannies in two years, the hours are normal for any nanny as is the rate of pay. We could produce the names of our previous nannies who would say the complete opposite of what was said above. Whether these comments have been made as a result of her medical condition(s), personal situation or sheer vindictiveness, they have no basis in truth and we would welcome anyone to talk to us about her role with us to get both sides of the story.
