| Please consider the welfare of your children when considering Lori.
We had issues with Lori from the start. She ended up having severe alcohol issues. We believed she was drinking while caring for our kids but, could not prove until after her termination. We came home to find her drunk and passed out with our 20 month old triplets running around the house unfed, unchanged and with the back door open, gate open, and the deck / yard accessible. We found out after hiring her that she was bragging about drinking while I was in my office and the babies were upstairs. We found out she was a "cutter". I did not know what one was until this. We have letters from family and friends dated back to her arrival here which indicated they knew about her alcohol and cutting issues. Letters from her mother begging her to get help and to stop losing jobs. I have pictures of her room with empty beer cans, empty bottle of Jack Daniels, and bloody rags under the desk, etc. I have AIM logs, and the letters. All which back up what we went through. I also have a copy of the police report we filed against her. She fled our house leaving everything behind. I told her and her family that I will continue to watch for her trying to work with children again and do everything possible to make sure she is not allowed to be put in a position to harm a child and family.
She is also not 19, but, 21. Also, she is quite the smoker. NOT a non-smoker. She also disrespects vehicles and house rules and refuses to correct or apologize when caught. Just continues to do it. She has cost us hundreds of dollars in house repairs and phone bills, etc. |
