We have had several Au Pairs before and since, and it is our opinion that this girl is not suited to be an Au Pair, certainly not in a foreign country. She never left her room and went into a state of serious depression. She did not interact well with the children and we almost had to force feed her. After 2 weeks she told us that she had to go home to complete some work experience. We were delighted to hear this as it avoided us having to ask her to leave. I feel compelled to highlight this to other greataupair users so as they will not suffer the same disappointment and genuine concern as we have done. A note for Cali herself; your strenghts probably lie elsewhere and not in the aupair program.
