I nevertheless offered her some time for reflexion and she sent me this email (summarized): " I have read your contract and all the duties that comes with the job, well i am ok with all the tasks involved and looking forward to me you all to sign my contract. ...... Thank you for taking interest in me, i promise i would not let you down. Sincerely Nadia mafuta" This sounded to me like a commitment. I tried to reach nadia by email to speak about the practicalities ..as I didn't receive any answer I called her. She claimed to be busy and asked me to call back in 10 minutes. Since then (a week ago), i'm trying to reach her by mail or phone and she never answers my calls or mails. I have now understood that she let me down. I'm very disappointed, it wouldn't have been so difficult to say" sorry i'm not interested anymore" so taht I could have searched again immediately, the school has started and I'm in a difficult position now.
