She comes from Alberta in Canada (Red Deer) and all our contacts before her arrival were very positive, her references, too. She came and stayed with us for a month and changed her ticket to leave without informing us. The excuse was that her father had had a heart attack. As she was crying without any tears, we called her mother to find out if it was true & the mother was speechless. Liana explained that she misread the e-mail and it was her uncle who was in hospital. The uncle was really in hospital doing already better(!) but she had known that for a few days already. She owes us money (400 euros) because we gave her stupidly enough half of the money of her return ticket upon her arrival almost (as she asked for it!) & also paid for her French classes. When asked what the real reason of her departure was she kept saying that she had no complaints concerning our family. We're happy she's gone & have already contacted a lawyer in Alberta in order to get our money back.
