We paid 2 times for Mel to come to our home and took her immediately into our home when the other family did not want her to stay even though we had another Aupair and did not need her for another month. We did all we could to make her feel at home and she was moody, unfriendly and after spending a wonderful Christmas with my family where we invited her sister and her boyfriend from England to stay with us. Yesterday she left a note saying her brother was in a terrible accident and she was flying to England to meet her sister and needed to get back home immediatley. I reached her mother after coming home with the house empty to find out that all she wrote on the note was a lie! Her brother had a small accident and had few stiches in his head and was fine. She just wanted to walk out without any notice and used this story as an excuse. She did not go to New Zealand as she wrote and knowing that we both work and would be in a bad situation to find someone she simply did not care. Mel has some serious concerns, very moody, and she is unreliable. She is only looking out for herself. She did this on Friday the 4th of January and now is looking for another family so I need to warn all of you that this girl has some really bad problems and is not the person you think she is.
