| I would like to post a complaint on one of your candidates. I have been looking for a nanny for two months and the first selected candidate had to cancel as her father were hospitalized just before she was due to leave. It was unfortunate, but she informed us right away.
As we continued our search we found that a lot of young people will not get back after the initial contact, that too is OK and understandable.
I would, however, like to complain about this one candidate that we have offered the position, who has accepted it, and repeatedly (on email) said that she will come.
She never called the contact number I gave her in her country of residence. When this person (a family member) then contacted her to ask her if she intends to come she again stated her interest and that she will contact us the very day etc. Since then we and the contact person (a family member) has been trying to call her so that we can book tickets, but she just closes her mobile phone. Due to her insisting that she is coming (even telling us she quit her job) we have been holding on and lost everybody else. What is wrong with simply saying no I have changed my mind? I hope to see a complaint posted on her profile soon. |
