Less than 24 hours after joining our family Jenn insisted that she could not possibly stay as the position was too stressful. Caring for one child part time, 2 full days and 2 half days per week. She only stayed for 2 days which is considerably shorter to the 3 months she had committed to. This experience, whilst inconvenient for me, has been extremely unsettling for our daughter who really took to Jenn and can not understand why she isn't here anymore. We contacted this girl about being an au pair to our boys (also in Western Australia) and we emailed back and forth for 2 or 3 weeks and she said she would take the job and was booking her flight that very day and then we never heard from her again. This really inconvenienced our family as we had told other au pairs the job was taken. Obviously she is not very trustworthy and after reading the above complaint I am glad she never bothered to show up!
