And come to find out, so did the previous family, after 1 month. Unfortunately, she is immature and irresponsible. Yes, she will watch your kids, but she is all about going out and partying. We also caught her lying to us about many situations. We feel she also misrepresented herself in her profile, as she stated she is finishing up her degree, when she has not even started college. She also does not have a drivers license, just an Arizona permit. And she does not go above and beyond with anything, including the kids or keeping her room clean. I just wanted to warn other possible families so you don't waste your time and money as we did. Comment   >> Posted: Jan 15 '07 by Be Wary in California, United States I emailed with Sara and interviewed her and she was very nice, however I did not feel she was being straight forward with me and she did not have enough experience for me to feel comfortable - I wanted to give her a chance, but then a reference which she gave me from Florida was very critical. I still thought, a tidiness complaint? I can handle that - I'm not overwhelmingly tidy myself, and the complaints related to child care had two sides. I gave her every benefit of the doubt I could, then I find that she's changed her number twice (611150 when I was looking at her and now 615476) and neither of the newer numbers register this complaint - and I think they should. I don't know how well she cares for children, but I do know she was not forthright with me, and it sounds as though this behavior isn't new. Please proceed with caution and DO check references (and please try to verify that they are actually previous employers, not people posing as such).
