Hello my name is John. In 2009, I suffered a diving accident that left me paralyzed from the chest down. I live with my parents Rick and Carol in a small town in Western Oregon called Mapleton. We have a large house on a beautiful piece of riverfront property. We are a conservative, Christian family, looking for a live in female caregiver who will assist with tasks such as dressing, bathing, and toileting, along with some light housekeeping. These tasks usually take place in the mornings and evenings. During the day I am mostly independent, working on the computer.

As my caregiver, you would be treated like a member of the family, sharing in meals and fellowship if you wish. You would have a great deal of privacy with nearly half of the house to yourself, including your own bathroom.

About Mapleton: Mapleton is a small town of less than 1000 people. It is located on the Siuslaw River about 15 miles away from Florence, Oregon and the beach. There's a Lane Community College in Florence and The University of Oregon is only an hour away.
