I really appreciate your interest viewing my profile and I hope you will enjoy reading it.
I believe that au pair or caregiver is one among the key to adopt lifestyles, practice foreign cultures and be part of foreign countries. Being an au pair, I have opportunities to explore the wonders and beauty of the world. And also, I will have much of chances to meet a lot of people in different beliefs, lifestyle, languages and cultures.
My experience of childcare was last march 02, 2005 up to June 30, 2006. My caregiver training and expertties of childcare had brought enough trust from my employer. She believe that I can take care of her child much more than she expect from me. I have 12 hours work from monday to friday, I have half day duty on saturday and rest day during sunday. I prepare baby's food and feed as well. I handle baby bath when mother is not available and assistance when mother is free. I wash the baby's clothes, iron and in-charge of all things owned by baby. I am responsible for the medicine/vitamins of baby. When the baby fell asleep, I prepare some dish if I like and cleaning places where baby mostly stay and play.
Recently I am working in Moscow, Russian Federation as live-in caregiver from 2007 of November until this coming August of 2012. I am taking care of 3 kids, two boys and 5 year old girl. My duties and resposibilities are preparing thier meals and snacks, wash and iron kid’s clothes and clean the kid’s rooms. I took a walk with Nikol every monday, tuesday, friday and saturday morning to playground after breakfast and 2 hours before dinner. Boys are quite old for baby sitting now and they have their own interest now a days unlike way back 4 years ago that when I went to walk with Nikol, boys will go with us too. What was funny now is that they have so many allibies when I ask them to walk with us but it was lovely because I saw them how they grow and become responsible person.
Well about my self... hobbies are playing billiard, internet surfing, reading books, watching action,comedy and adventure movies, playing chess and computer games. I like spending time and doing something with kids as well as elders too. We cannot deny that mostly of senior elders act like kid sometime. I just remember my OJT in the home for the aged, they were so nice person who long for unconditional love and care. I met Emmanuel, same name as mine and he was 94 years old that time ( 2003), he hates me just because We had the same name but patience and tickles made that hates gone after some times. My patience are more than enough "I guess" and maybe I was also an undertanding person too but I always stand to my principle that " wrong is wrong and right is right'.
I love cooking too, I can clean the entire house alone with respect to size of course, I can work without any supervision and I can assure my employer that everything goes fine while they are not around. I love dog and cat. I can take care of your garden if you have and I can work in your farm if you wish too. I had a farmers blood running in my vains. I am a friendly person and I can work with different people with different personalities and races as long as we could understand each other. I can rate my driving skills as excellent; I can drive two (2) wheels to 10 wheeler truck. I have professional drivers licence code 123.
