Dear future host family,
I am already very excited about getting to know you. But, first of all, I would like to introduce myself to you.
I am Leslie Ann , 29 years of age, in a relationship, from the Philippines. My height is 5'2" and weight is 64kg. I live in Cebu City, also known as the Queen City of the South. I am a hardworking person, patient, open minded and honest individual, who is kind and gets along well with others. I consider myself to be very hard working and reliable. I come from a large family but my second eldest sister is my closest. She has a partner who is German; they have one daughter. I had lived with them for 13 years. I became a part of their circle and I have experienced how it is to live in a small family. Moreover, I was able to graduate from high school and college with their financial assistance. In exchange for their generosity, I took care of her when she got pregnant until she went into labour. That is how I became the babysitter of my niece from the time she was a baby and until now that she is almost a teenager.
I am a responsible person. For example, I can be left with the kids and managing the house. I was trained, at my sister’s place, to babysit my niece at the same time, cleaning the place thoroughly because her German partner is very strict when it comes to cleanliness and organization. Aside from it, I am also responsible for cooking the meals, washing the dirty laundries, clearing up the table after meals, and washing the used plates and utensils. Furthermore, I am also a patient person. I learned to have patience when babysitting children and this help me developed getting friendly easily with other people, adapt to new situations and any environment especially when I am with kids. In addition, I know how to do a make-over. I do the make-up of my nieces when they have presentations at the school.
I have had a meaningful experience in both taking care of a child and doing household chores. My experiences with my nieces and nephews have given me the ability to work with a wide variety of children. I would always be willing to do my best, if ever you would give me the chance to be part of your family. I believe my professionalism in the task given to me and ability to respond immediately to an emergency situations are some of the things that can make me as a valuable Au pair. These can be very useful in carrying out the duties being assigned to me.
I hope we can develop a good relationship, working and living together as a family. I would be very happy to experience an eventful year with you and your kids. I am looking forward to talking to you.
