The gold star in front of an Au Pair's name means that she has been accepted into the Au Pair Premiere Program, which means that she is pre-qualified to obtain a J-1 Visa in the United States through GreatAupair's Agency Partner Program.
Qualifications of an Au Pair Premiere participant:
- Au Pair has made a commitment to answer all family email inquiries within 3 days of receipt
- Au Pair will make a 12-month commitment to stay with the family
- Au Pair has received at least a high school diploma or its equivalent
- Au Pair can speak English fluently
- Au Pair has a clean medical record
- Au Pair does not have a criminal record
- Au Pair does have a valid drivers license
- Au Pair does not smoke
- Au Pair has provided 3 non-family references
