My name is Tom and I come from Nairobi, Kenya. I am writing to introduce myself and express my interest in becoming your au pair and tutor. I am a responsible, respectful, and calm person who is eager to learn new cultures and become part of a caring family.

I am the firstborn in my family, and I have been taking care of my younger siblings for many years. Growing up in a single-parent household after my father passed away taught me responsibility at an early age. I helped my mother by looking after my younger siblings, assisting with daily routines, and making sure they were safe and supported. This experience shaped me into a patient and dependable person, especially when it comes to children.I enjoy being around children because I find them energetic, honest, and full of life. I like helping them learn, play, and grow in a safe and positive environment. I also enjoy supporting children with schoolwork, especially English and basic subjects. I believe learning should be simple, clear, and encouraging.

As a tutor, I am patient and willing to explain things in different ways until a child understands. I understand that every child learns differently, so I always try to adjust to their pace and needs.

I am also willing to help with light household tasks related to the children, such as preparing meals, cleaning up after them, and keeping their spaces tidy. I understand that being an au pair is about supporting the family in daily life and creating a positive home environment.I am open-minded, respectful, and ready to adapt to new cultures, routines, and family rules. I understand the importance of trust, communication, and responsibility when living with a host family.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, learning new things, and spending time outdoors. I am also interested in improving my skills and growing through this experience.
