Introduction
Hello. I am a certified caregiver with TESDA certificate of Caregiving NC II which I passed here in the Philippines. I don't have a paid experience when it comes to being a Caregiver but I do have experience in Senior care because I am one of those who assisted and took care of my Grandma Yvette, who is now 75 years old with Diabetes. She is in a wheelchair and can barely walk. By this experience I had with my Grandma taking care of her, it made me realize how important it is to have a younger companion who can assist you in your everyday lives since our elderlies can no longer perform their day to day tasks alone considering they also have diabetes or other illnesses. That is when I realized I have to become a caregiver so that someday I will be able to apply and provide care and assistance to elderlies in need. It is not our elders fault that they have aged, but it will be our guilt if we did not care.
