My experience as a Nursing Aide is very broad – to say the least; I have worked in comparable capacities for 1 Year and 4 months particularly in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in a Tertiary Hospital as my first job experience. I enjoy Attending to patients’ needs pertaining to grooming and mobility, cleaning and bathing patients. Turn, reposition, and transfer patients between beds. Serve meals and help patients eat. Changing beds and ensuring general hygiene conditions. Checking patients’ vitals and reporting results to the nursing staff. Carrying out physical and diagnostic tests. Good knowledge of infection control procedures. Clean equipment and facilities. Suctioning Intubated patients or patients with Tracheostomy.


My second employment as a Nursing Assistant for 6 months in a Primary Hospital assigned in a Ward Station, my duties are almost the same as my first job.


I am currently working as a Nursing Attendant II in a Med-Surg Ward (Pay Ward) for almost 3 years now at Philippine General Hospital.
