As a dedicated care provider who already assisted different types of clients, I believe that I am an
excellent match for the caregiver position.
I firmly consider provision of care as well as healthcare important that a person needs to devote
oneself. I have been doing it for years when I obtained a Diploma in Midwifery. With the
learning that I acquired from my education, I equipped those to provide care not only to my
pregnant clients but also to those who needed individualized care. In fact, months after
graduating in 2017, I chose to work as a caregiver for a geriatric hypertensive client for two
years. My background in midwifery has given me an advantage over others because I am able to
apply what I have learned about a person's health. I am also knowledgeable about emergency
situations as I attended a training workshop on how to provide basic first aid.
The provision of the client's everyday necessities is just the beginning of my job. Aside from
preparing healthy meals, monitoring vital signs, provision of maintenance medication, and
ensuring a safe and clean environment, it also extends to being a great companion that was once
established during my education. A professional companion who respects certain clients, as I
already had the experience of meeting people from different walks of life.
Even though the pandemic forced me to take a different road after working as a caregiver for two
years, I never lost the commitment and devotion I had for the job. I recently completed my
studies to earn a national certificate in caregiving. I recently had completion rights at the
University of Nueva Caceres last April 2022 earning various competency certifications. Some of
the certificates include training in emergency response, basic life support, home and food
management, and child and elder care. My abilities were also honed during the 60 hours of
on-the-job training I completed at an orphanage, where I was able to care for a variety of clients.
If I would be given the opportunity to be hired for this position, I would love to dedicate and
utilize the skills that I have acquired.
