I graduated in 2013 with a bsc in botany but because of my passion for caregiving I proceeded for a 3yrs training as a Nursing Assistant from 2013 to 2015 and when I completed my training I was retained in the same hospital that trained me and have been working there till date.while working I was sponsored by same hospital for my midwifery program which I finished in 2022 March so I'm also a Registered licensed and certified midwife in my country.and in my country, midwives(RM) and nurses(RN) are grouped and classed as the same.midwives do everything nurses do and even much more because RN are not allowed to take deliveries.
Some of our patients at the hospital require home care services and we usually render it. On my own I have about four patients I care for at home privately and they are all elderly and are doing very well and have not had need to be rushed to the hospital since I started caring for them. One of my patients is a chronic diabetic with peptic ulcer, high blood pressure and mild diabetic retinopathy and was always brought in to the hospital on emergency but there hasn't been any emergency since I started caring for her thrice weekly at home. I also call her regularly to make sure she has had her due medications. Another of my patient had a colostomy so I visit thrice weekly as well or PRN to change the colostomy bag and keep her neat and clean. The youngest of my patients has regular migraines,anger/temper issues, ulcer and fertility problems which I'm handling very well. In times past, and over the years, I've cared for all kinds of patients at home and within the hospital,I have taken lots of labour cases, handled several deliveries, cared for lots of neonates, sometimes I'd have to spend weeks on duty in the neonatal ward on request just to be sure the babies are doing well. Amazingly in my country as a midwife you're not confined only to the Labour room/ward. You can work in any department provided you're intimated on the SOPs of that department and that's why you could find yourself in a different department every 2-3 months.so when it comes to caring for children, newborns, toddlers, teenagers, adults, pregnant women, women trying to conceive, post operative patients, elderly people/patients whether it's within the hospital or in the comfort of their homes,I'm able and willing to give my best.i render family anning services as well since i am also a certified family planner. I'm a member of the Redcross. I'm very friendly and hardworking. I love talking with old people...I like to be with them and around them.seeing them well and happy gives me somuch joy. I also love children newborns teenagers because I'm a mother and I'm a midwife as well. I have great experience in care for all ages both within and outside hospital environment.i have had to travel long miles away to render care voluntarily. I won't dissapoint you if I'm considered and eventually given the job. All my patients are doing well currently and the past ones can testify that I did my best for them. You won't regret choosing me I promise you.
