Perfect travel buddy. I cook & sing & dabble in massage therapy. My base schedule is 5 21 hr. shifts a week, with two 24 hour periods off weekly; a private bedroom & bathroom. I will need 3 hours off daily, preferably early evening, this is when I turn off a bit, work out & shower, as I can’t if you or your elder need constant supervision (and if you’ve hired me, they do).
I buy all of my own food & cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, pay for gas or Uber, and, I’ll bring or buy my own coffee maker, etc. It’s what I do :) Even if you have a Brita filter, I’ll use my own. And I’ll write my name on all my food, etc. This is an employee/employer situation, but it’s very unique too, has a roommate flavor as well:

My salary starts at $1000/wk. Every 6-8 weeks I’ll need a small raise or a bonus of some kind, a gas card, I don’t care, bc with every gig, *every gig* there is a growing list of tasks, small things that “only take 5 minutes”, but there is no growing compensation, none. That’s why no one wants these jobs, btw. And put in cameras! Not in my living spaces, obviously, but, I’m a big supporter of cameras so we all know what’s going on, especially if multiple staff.
