We are looking for someone who is mature, organized and professional. Someone who has tons of enthuiasm and takes pride in their work and has a loving, caring and a playful heart. We would love for them to be with our family for many years. Our 2 children 7 and 10 are in a Rudolph Steiner Waldorf school. We would love to have someone who has some experience or exposure to that kind of approach to child care and education.
Since the kids are in school during the week our need for a childcare provider has evolved into needing someone who can and enjoys helping out with the housekeeping, laundry, cooking and loves to keep things organized. We are looking for someone who is a very good driver and has experience driving in the winter. We don't work a typical 9 to 5 work week... we need an early riser to work early mornings and on Saturdays, and due to the nature of our work, everything can change last minute so we need someone who can go with the flow. We would love to work with someone who is a self-starter and wants to jump in and help with whatever needed.
My husband and I are both Yoga teachers and so our family is very health oriented.
We are an athletic family and love nature, and we love animals. We have a cat and a huge all black German Shepard, a chameleon, 2 very sweet lizards and lots of fish. Our daughter wants to be a vet! We love to hike in woods or on the Appalachian Trail (which is in our back yard), horseback ride, bike ride, sled,camp,camp, and have family dance parties and especially yoga! We also enjoy traveling, going to the movies, making art, reading books, cooking, dancing and singing to music. The kids love to make things.. sewing and knitting. We love to sing songs and celebrate the time we have together with our family date night. We love to learn about other cultures, their food, customs, ideas, music, spirituality etc. We both work very hard and feel it is important that the person we hire have the same work ethic we have. We are looking for someone who can make our demanding, busy lives a little bit easier and whom we can share some of our healthy lifestyle habits with.
