Job Description
It's been a while since I had this up, and though I did successfully make two hires over the years, so it's time to revamp it to highlight some change of circumstances.
For starters, the description is still the same: someone who can live-in and help a busy professional, single dad, who works from home most of the time, running a consultancy practice in software engineering, system design and architecture - all technology related.
Need assistance on days stated when kids are around, as well as admin and other duties support when working from home. That's also still the case.
What has changed is that the UK economical situation and instability following Brexit, has lead me to plan a permanent move to either Qatar or Abu Dhabi in by the end of 2026, with my youngest daughter. The rest of my children will stay in the UK to complete their university education. Hence, this post is now for someone who has the desire to make the move with us.
I prefer single, unattached FEMALES - all male applicants will be rejected and blocked, and this is due to welfare concerns, being a father to a majority female family.
You must be a multi tasker, and friendly, able to keep going when the going gets tough and be able to apportion and prioritise the children when they're around; when not, then I am, your priority, in every sense.
Need someone able to take on document writing with minimal supervision - what you'll find is that there is one document in the making at any one time, where information needs to composed, written and presented, with iterations following discussions.
Once I start you in that direction, I need to be focusing on the work pipeline, hence can't spend hours composing material myself and typing - that's where you come in.
Priority given to computing science graduates.
Incoming/outgoing post, filing and organisation is the other part of the job, both for household and business related material.
