Let me introduce myself.
My name is Jana and I come from Slovakia (EU country, currently in the Netherlands). I have graduated from The secondary technical school of print technologies, the only class a year of its kind in the country, so the written word is very close to me. After taking courses at a language school in Soho, London, and spending extensive time abroad, I have also received a certificate from The British Council in Bratislava, where I’ve passed the English exam test.
I know first hand life is filled with projects everyone has to deal with on everyday bases. I’m a mature, reliable, responsible, organized person who can take a load of responsibilities off your shoulders, so you can have the peace of mind and the time for other things in your life as well. I take my job seriously, with attention to detail. Keeping your precious ones in a safe and nurturing environment is my priority. Smoking is not a part of my life and I‘ve driven for over ten years with no accidents (PLEASE, NOTE 2 things: automatic transmission only, but I'm open to relearning a manual. I’m also an owner of two rescue cats, potty trained, get well with other animals, so I’m looking for someone where they are not going to be an issue). Although I'm not a chef, I enjoy cooking and new recipes. I have over 14 years of experience of taking care of children and their families under my belt. I have lived and worked in Great Britain, United States, Switzerland, France, Denmark, Greece and Netherlands, where I have taken care of children of various ages, starting from the time they were born until about the age of 16, also senior care and SNC, as well as all the households. I love animals and have many experiences ranging between being an owner, a rescue volunteer and working on a farm with physically and emotionally disabled cats, dogs, even horses. I go beyond the basic feeding and walking, also grooming, training, vet visits and administering medication.
Addition to, for several years I've worked at different companies in the print/design industry in various areas and positions (as well as in other industries), where I've gained skills focused on speed and precision as well as fast thinking and ability to find new ways of solving problems in new situations.
Kids, other family members, dealing with other staff or services, driving, shopping, cleaning, laundry, ironing, washing cars, maintaining pools, feeding, walking and grooming dogs, cats or taking care of horses, organising a small room or a whole house, I’ve done it all. If it's not on the list, I can probably learn it.
I enjoy the sea as much as the mountains, yoga, swimming, sightseeing, movies, new people as much as my old friends and family. I love seeing new places and learning about different cultures.
I prefer weekends to be free (or two consecutive days a week) and a quiet, private space for myself to decompress.
