Hello! My name is Fabienne. I am a 30 year old Australian-Mauritian who is currently living and working in Germany. I have been a nanny for over 5 years now, travelling the world, gaining a wealth of life experience and learning first hand, different cultures and languages. I am TEFL educated and am currently completing my Bachelor of Science in Behavioural Studies via correspondence. I have lived in Europe for almost 5 years now, working as a nanny in Germany and Italy.
I am extremely organised, fun and out going and yet discreet and respectful of a families and employers private time.

Besides performing childcare tasks, I also possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and am enthusiastic to learn new, and further, existing skills. I speak fluent French, English and intermediate Italian and German and have used these skills doing translations. (references available)
I possess first aid and CPR Certifications, that have been updated regularly due to my years as cabin crew, as well a cabin crew certified swimming skills. I am confident on boats and am well versed in all forms of travel and transport. I have a drivers license with an impeccable driving record and feel confident driving both right hand and left hand driving.

I am someone who is adventurous, independent, responsible and kind. I adapt to new situations easily and treat everyone I meet with respect. I love hiking, swimming, camping and anything that puts me in nature. I am extremely passionate about the planet and all living things and would like the opportunity to do more for the environment and the animals. I have been bought up with pets and love to care for all animals, big and small! I still have many things I want to learn in life like surfing, piano and sailing! Reading and writing are of the upmost importance in my life. I love the arts and culture, and will often visit museums or see a show. I love interior design and have enjoyed decorating many different homes around the world and purchasing items from around the world. Travel is my absolute passion.. I find that, for myself, it has always been an opportunity to learn and grow and I don't see that changing any time soon. I love to learn languages and still want to learn at least three more at the moment! I also love love love to cook! One of my favourite things about all my travels is learning about the local cuisine and I will often take a few cooking classes to learn the local tips of the area. My year in Italy was an absolutely amazing experience for me on the culinary side of things! I come from a large family with four sisters and value family so much. As a biracial family from a very culturally diverse country, were bought up to be kind and respectful to all races and religions. Our parents raised us with a healthy curiosity for the world and a thirst for knowledge.

I have fantastic interpersonal skills, having been a people-person all my life. Working in hospitality, aviation and childcare, I have developed great team work skills, interpersonal skills, working under pressure and giving the best customer service possible. Communication is incredibly important, and I value a healthy working relationship that is based on respect. I am easily approachable with a down to earth personality.

I am also applying for personal assistant jobs and care taker jobs as I believe that all of my nannying skills are easily transferable and relevant to many of these positions. I would also love the opportunity to learn new skills. I am a fast learner, intelligent, well read and spoken. My years of travel, flight attending and nannying have provided me with incredible organisation stills, (particularly in any travel related work) I multi task and delegate well and am a quick thinker when it comes to problem solving. I have a nurturing personality, that is important to any job. I would be particularly keen to work for any company or persons who work in environmental and/or humanitarian sectors.
