First a little about us: I am American and my husband is Italian and we have two children (6yo and 4yo) who were born in Australia and have done lots of traveling. We moved to Bologna last year and we love it here. We have an apartment close to Giardini Margherita and our children are in school full-time. We are an energetic family, we like to go to the park, cook and eat and explore.

What we need: We are looking for someone who can lend a helping hand in all aspects of home life. First and foremost, I need an affectionate and energetic person who can keep the house in order and help me with the everyday life of children. Keeping the house in order includes working with me to organize shopping, assist in cooking, laundry and ironing. We are very "hands-on" parents and typically take the kids to school and pick them up from school, but we would like someone who can manage the kids if we would like to go out for the evening, etc.

I think the most important qualities are happy, affectionate, energetic, and adaptable.

Salary is negotiable and will be in line with the "going rate" for live-in help in Bologna. You would also have half Saturday and Sunday free per week.
