We are a warm and loving family from Hamburg, Germany, looking for a reliable, kind and
flexible nanny / family assistant to become part of our daily family life.
OUR FAMILY
Our family consists of Mathilda (7 years old), Magdalena (3 years old) and a new baby arriving in
September.
We live in one of Hamburg's greenest, safest and most beautiful areas. At the moment, we live in a
spacious 180 sqm apartment.
Our nanny will have a large private room of approximately 30 sqm as well as a private toilet. The
family bathroom is currently shared.
We are currently looking for a new family home with a separate nanny flat which will
provide even more privacy and independence in the future.
ABOUT OUR FAMILY
I am a stay-at-home mother and very actively involved in my children's daily lives and routines. This
position is therefore not about replacing a parent, but about becoming a valued and trusted support
within our family.
One of the advantages of this position is that both parents are highly involved in the children's lives
and daily routines. We genuinely enjoy spending time with our children and being present as a
family.
Because of this, there will be plenty of personal time and opportunities to relax throughout the
week. We are not looking for someone to take over complete responsibility for the children, but
rather for a trusted person who supports our family life and works alongside us as part of a team . We’re looking for someone flexible with their free time. Because there will be enough free time!
What is particularly important to us is reliability when it comes to household responsibilities and
agreed daily tasks.
In return, we are very open to flexibility, compromise and finding practical
solutions together whenever needed.
LIFE WITH OUR FAMILY
Family life is very important to us. We value kindness, trust, respect, reliability and open
communication.
Travelling is a big part of our family life. We regularly spend time in our homes in Mallorca (Spain),
Italy and Austria. Our nanny / family assistant will often have the opportunity to accompany us on
these trips and become part of these experiences.
A valid passport or ID and the ability to travel freely within the European Union are therefore
required.
TYPICAL DAILY ROUTINE
Morning (6:30 AM – 8:30 AM)
• Preparing breakfast
• Helping the children get dressed and ready for the day
• School and kindergarten drop-off
• Supporting the morning family routine
During the Day
• Laundry and ironing
• Vacuuming and tidying
• Grocery shopping
• Bathroom cleaning
• Making beds
• Organising children's rooms and play areas
• General household organisation
A professional cleaning lady comes once per week for deep cleaning.
Once the household tasks for the day have been completed, the nanny is welcome to take a lunch
break of a length that suits her personal needs and schedule.
All food and beverages in the household are available to the nanny at any time.
Afternoon (2:30 PM – 6:00 PM)
• School and kindergarten pick-up
• Playground visits
• Accompanying the children to activities and appointments
• Supporting homework and daily routines
• Helping with bath time and evening preparations
• Assisting with the preparation of family dinners
• Supporting the children throughout the afternoon and evening routine

WORKING SCHEDULE
Saturday is considered a regular working day as part of our family routine.
Weekly schedules may vary depending on family needs, travel plans and children's activities.
Flexibility and open communication are important to us.
