We are a husband and wife expecting a baby by the end of December and are looking for a middle aged nanny to help with house chores and baby sitting towards the end of the year. We have a small apartment and laid back jobs so we are very involved in the chores in our house as well. We are a simple family so speaks mainly English and are just looking for some help through the day. We’re looking forward to meeting you!

Job description:

Full time live in nanny to help house chores:
1. Cleaning (mopping, vacuuming, dusting, wiping, watering plants)
2. Laundry clothes/ bedsheets (wash, dry, iron & fold) (we have a washer and dryer in house)
3. Kitchen help (dishes, vegetable chopping, trash take out)
4. After December help with infant care (wash baby clothes, wash baby bottle items, change diapers when needed, baby sit when parents out, parents will prepare food beforehand, bathe baby if parents out of town)
Baby sit baby out of house (in play areas or family gathering if parents want to use bathroom or eat)
5. Help with grocery shopping (making list of items house needs, grocery shopping with parents)

We live in a house with husband family (we have no kids but I am pregnant and will give birth end of December)

nanny will only be responsible for parents flat (2 bedroom flat on 2nd floor). We have a small apartment so cleaning shouldn’t be an issue. I (the mom) work from home and travel for work every 1-2 months for maximum a week, the father (my Husband) works Sunday - Thursday 7am-2pm. I usually cook all the meals in the house or my mother in law so nanny will not have to know how to cook but preferably open to learning so that when I give birth in December she can prepare simple soup and soft food.

Other than the list of job description above and being open to learning how to cook, the job is simple, mainly helping keep the house clean and baby sitting after December / January.

In terms of living quarters and days off, we have a 3x4m room on the ground floor for the nanny with own bathroom, washer & dryer, microwave, mini fridge, twin bed, mini TV, full dresser & cabinet filled with 7 daily uniforms, pijamas, 4 “going out” uniforms, and undergarments and shoes will be provided based on individual size.

The day usually starts around 9am and ends at 9pm, ofcourse the nanny will have private time in her quarters for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and 2 breaks throughout the day (after lunch and after dinner).

In terms of days off, you have one day off the week (Saturdays).
