I have 8 years’ experience caring for children aged 2-13 years old. I finished my current contract working as a Primary Spanish teacher in July 2023. I then went to Spain to work as a nanny for a couple of months during the summer holidays (July- August). I have just returned to London.
In my previous role as a part-time governess for a HNW family, I taught Spanish to a 6 year old boy through games, songs, role-plays, stories and using props (toys, cards, music).
I also have 4 years and 3 months experience working as a full time nanny for a HNW family with two children. I assisted the whole family, but my number one priority was keeping the children safe and happy. I planned and led educational activities, helping them with homework, School Projects and reading. I also taught them good social manners and discipline as well as teaching them Spanish as their second language.
I helped and encouraged them to follow rules, to clean up after themselves and, to be independent. I cooked healthy meals and made them follow a set schedule which included scheduled fun outings to parks, gardens, zoos and museums. I did proxy parenting almost every month.
In my past years living in Spain, I worked as a full time nanny. I took on a variety of roles depending on the family's needs, from childcare to light household chores. I created and delivered activities for the complete development of the children.
I believe my experience and passion for working with children would make me an excellent choice of nanny for this role.
