Hi there,
I am a 20 year old Scottish female. Currently I am a student in Scotland. I have achieved my NC qualification in early education and childcare and am currently working towards my HNC childhood practise qualification.
Through my two courses I have a total of 15 months experience working with all children aged 0-5. I also have an excellent amount of experience working with children with additional support needs and I myself am on the autism spectrum, however this does not impact my working abilities at all.
I have my advanced high English qualification from high school and am first aid certified and am willing to renew my certificate at any time.
I have my PVG form (police disclosure to work with vulnerable groups) and I spent my teenage years volunteering with the Drumchapel childrens right program every summer for 5 years.
All in all it is my dream to work in childcare. I believe adults as educators for young children are the stepping stone to all children's learning and nurture, to be that stepping stone is to provide the foundation of everything a child will become and I find that one of world's greatest privileges.
I am extremely focused on family led learning and integrating home and learning. I think its beyond import to have families involved and for us as nannies or educators to follow the routine and structure of the family.
