Hello, my name is Abigail Villate, and I'm writing to apply for the nanny position with your family. I have six years of experience working with children. I've been nanny regularly for the last 5yrs. My experience, combined with my CPR and first aid certification and NC2 for Caregiving (childcare,senior care,and disabled care), makes me a great candidate for your new nanny.
My most recent nanny position was with a family of seven whose children ranged from ages new born to 12. I'm sure you can imagine the constant commotion involved in caring for five children, but it's the kind of challenge I find fun and exciting. 5 days a week, I helped the older kids get ready for school and then stayed with the younger children until their parents got home from work.
During the day, the younger children and I would play games, do arts and crafts, enjoy educational activities and have a home-cooked lunch. I was also available to care for the older children when they stayed home sick from school or to babysit nights and weekends when the parents wanted a date night. My employer have often expressed appreciation for my adaptability, enthusiasm and ability to handle any type of situation.
