Nice to meet you! ? Allow me to introduce myself;

I’m very connected with my inner child—I like to keep this playful world inside of me alive, and share it with others. I’ve always been passionate about fantasy movies and mythology, and am a proponent of the idea that it’s essential to encourage kids to dive into their own creativity.

My babysitting journey started when my single mother decided to study IT, leaving me to take care of my 1 and a half year old little sister so that she could go to university after work.
So, at just 12 years old, I learned to change diapers, feed her, put her to sleep, etc.

From 2021 to 2022, I worked as an au pair for about a year and four months in a small village in the German speaking part of Switzerland. I took care of two kids—a girl of 1–2 and a half years old, and her older brother of 6–7 and a half years old.

In the time I was there, they were both in different phases of their development. The girl was in a phase of great curiosity and discovery, exploring and trying to understand the world around her, as well as the cognition of her own body. I proposed activities that stimulated her fine motor skills, and sometimes I felt like a "tour guide" as I guided her and explained everything that she showed interest in.

I was able to accompany her during her growth and development—from expanding her vocabulary, teaching her to identify the colors and shapes, the names and sounds of the animals, among others. Despite her age, I liked to give her autonomy to try to do basic functions alone, but always helping and intervening when necessary, such as changing her clothes and putting on her shoes, feeding the kittens (one of her favorite activities), filling her glass of water, eating, etc.

The older brother was in a completely different, more playful phase. He had a broad imagination and fantasized about superpowers, enjoyed soccer and memory and logic reasoning games. In the beginning, we had to work together due to a language barrier, building functional and fun means of communication, until little by little I learned High-German and Swiss-German.
