My name is Silvia, and I'm a young Spanish student pursuing my higher education in France.
I'm in my second year of studies in Montpellier, a city in France, where I'm majoring in Applied Foreign Languages (Arabic-Spanish), which is a kind of philology applied to economics.
As a result, I love languages! I am fluent in Spanish and French, I manage quite well in English, and I have some control over Chinese, Arabic, and Italian. In the future, I would love to become a primary school teacher. That's why I adore children.
Since I was little, I have taken care of the children of my parents' friends, my cousins, and so on. I loved organizing games and scavenger hunts for them and keeping them entertained. As an adult, I have worked with children on numerous occasions. In Spain, I taught languages to 12-year-old children, and here in France, while studying, I take care of several families with children aged between 2 and 10. Moreover, last summer, I spent a month as an au pair in Italy with an extraordinary family with two children aged 4 and 6, whom I not only took care of but also taught them Spanish.
I am a very cheerful, dreamy, and creative person. I adapt very well to any situation and I have no problem helping you with anything you need.
I love to travel and see the world. Since I was a child, my parents have fostered that passion in me, and now I try to travel whenever I can. I believe that experiences like these are very enriching because you become part of a family and learn from them not only the language but also their customs, culture, and thoughts.
My mother is a teacher and has always dedicated time to do crafts, games, and experiments with us. Perhaps that's why she passed on her passion for children to me! Also, since my brother is deaf, he has always needed overstimulation through games.
I love to read, both classic literature, especially English, like Jane Austen, the Brontë sisters, as well as fantasy; I'm a big fan of Harry Potter, ha!
Since I'm good with languages, we could adapt any of the games to help them learn or improve in new languages. And, if you wish, I could try to speak to them in French, English, or Spanish.
