Dear host family,
I am already very excited about getting to know you. But, first of all, I would like to introduce myself to you.
My name is Anne Love Mae 24 years of age, from a small town in the Philippines. I lived with my mother Joenor with our 3 cuddly cats. My mother worked as a peddler, and through her hard work, I finished my degree last 2020.
When it comes to child care experience, I have looked after children from my nephew up to my neighbor's children in the Philippines we loved children, and often we looked after them without anything in return. I remember when I was in a small town in the Visayas. I took care of a little boy named Carlo who was around 1 year old at that time. His teen mother had him because she was raped victim and sometimes his mom would have an episode where she will be hot-headed and ignored Carlo for days. I was just in my primary school days at that time and I took the initiative to foster him for days to pamper him to the fullest. I became very close to him and I cherish the time I have spent with him. Even thou her mama got okay I still often took care of him until we moved Through this time, I have found out how much fun it is to have children around, I can’t imagine a life without them.
I have never spent a long time abroad, but I am used to not seeing my mother for one or two weeks so I don’t think I will become particularly homesick. Living with me is really easy as I am not a demanding person. I do respect that the house is your house and that I have to follow your house rules.
I would love to become your next Au Pair because I love children and enjoy spending time with them. I am prepared and I am well aware of the fact that being like a big sister to your children comes along with responsibilities for them and it will not always be just play and fun. My calm and patient personality will help me to master more difficult situations for instance when the kids are tired or don’t want to listen to me.
In my free time, I like to listen to music, read books, watch movies,s and be with pets. My first language is Filipino and I am also fluent in English. I started learning English in primary school up to my University Days.
I hope we can develop a good relationship, working and living together as a family. I would be very happy to experience an eventful year with you and your kids. I am looking forward to talking to you.
