Dear Future Host Family,

I am writing to express my interest in applying as an Au-pair.

My name is Rosy, an aspiring Au pair that would like to have a cultural exchange with your lovely family. I am 27 years old. I am single, never been married, and with no child. I took up Bachelor of science in Secondary Education major in English until 3rd year college as I wasn't able to finished it due to financial problem. I am good in speaking English, Bisaya, and Tagalog and some basic Arabic. I would like to describe myself as an open-minded, dedicated, responsible and caring person.

Most importantly my genuine love for children. My childcare experiences started in my teenage years since I have 5 siblings and 2 nieces at home (ages 3-15 years old). At home, I helped my mother taking care of my siblings and nieces by providing care, ensuring their safety when mother is not home, playing with them, feed them, bathed and put them to sleep, helping them with their home works and reviewing their school lessons as well teaching new skills. We also do outdoor games to insure that they are engaged in some physical activities at the same time fostering a positive environment for their learning and personal growth. These experiences made my heart very close with children and treating them well with love.

Aside from it, as a Filipino, at the very young age, we were taught to help with the household chores. I can do household chores such as cooking, tidying up, washing the dishes, and doing the laundry and ironing. I was also a domestic helper in Saudi Arabia for 2 years. I am a multitasker, fast learner, can work with less supervision and have the will to work without being told to. I can also take care of your pets if you have any.

I am looking forward to be an Au pair because I am very much wiling to learn more things from your lovely family as well as share my own Filipino cultures to your family especially with your kids. I believe that there are a lot of interesting things that I can learn from you.

I wish to find a home away from home and I hope that I can be part of your family.
