My name is Jhona. I am friendly, happy, loving, caring, patient, easy going, flexible, reliable and honest. I am very much interested to apply as an caregiver in your family. I am 28 years old, no kids, and never been married. I have a valid passport valid until June 22, 2022. I have finished Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. I was born and raised in Quirino province, located at the Northern part of the Philippines, where the place’s source of income is farming.
I am a family oriented person. Our family is an adventurous one. We gather especially during reunions, birthdays, weddings. We love to go to beach, visit our relatives to other places, enjoy our time with our cousins, friends, aunts, uncles. A Filipino family having extended family, is the most happy moment to spend time with. We maintain closeness, enjoy singing during occasions, drinking wine, dancing, and getting in touch by story telling.
When it comes to child care, I have 3 nieces and a nephew and usually I spend my time with them during my free time taking good care of them. I feed them, baby sit and play with them. I currently live with my sister and I have my niece and nephew with me. I looked after my niece and nephew when their parents are at work. We usually enjoy dating with the kids, going to parks and riding bikes. We enjoy playing and dancing with the kids. I always make sure they are free exploring while assisting them.
I have also helped my aunt take care of her 5-year old daughter while I am studying in a university. I prepare her, take her to school and bring her back after my class. In the afternoon, I prepare dinner helped her do her home works and tutor her until bed time. My aunt gave me allowance in exchange. I have also helped in household chores like laundry, cleaning the house, and ironing their clothes. Sometimes, I also make myself busy in assisting to their business. I grew up from a family of farmers so I have an experience in gardening, farming, taking care of pets, feeding cows and pigs. I grew up at my aunt’s house where I do household works during my primary school. I am. Responsible for cooking, watering plants, cleaning, tidying kitchen and emptying dishes, dusting and any kind of household chores.
Our province is 7 hours away from the city where I studied. I love to live in the province than in the city because I love nature and I really enjoy planting vegetables, gardening, harvesting, taking care of pets, feeding animals. I love living a simple life in a place where there is farm and having a simple house full of laughter and a happy simple family.
As a typical Filipino woman, and for the future, maybe after a year or two, I am planning to pursue my Masters degree of Business Administration and also take the CPA Board Exams. As of now, I have a 5 years of accounting experience and I would like to take some time out from the routinary paper works to different life experience.
I want to become an caregiver because I want to learn and engage myself in other culture as well as explore the beauty of other countries. I would describe myself as reliable, easy going, honest, flexible patient and happy. I can also work with minimum supervision. I would love to learn your language and also your culture and I would also be happy to share our culture too and cook Filipino dishes for you. I would love to be your children’s big sister and help in instilling good values to them and be a role model to them while they grow up. I am caring, a soft spoken person, responsible and trustworthy.
I appreciate simple things in life. I love adventure. I enjoy travelling with friends, hiking, wall climbing, cave spelunking, going to beaches. I love nature. I also love to stay fit, doing stuffs like working out at the gym, participating in a fun run with obstacle course. I love playing with children and I usually enjoy doing crafts and reading books with them.
I consider travelling a healthy lifestyle because you are giving yourself a time to unwind and to rest, and destressing yourself from problems at work. Its a very good way of spreading positive vibes. I love hiking and I have been hiking the 3rd highest mountain in the Philippines, Mt. Pulag. I already hiked Mt. Ulap, Mt. 387 and entered the 5th longest cave of the Philippines, the Capisaan Cave. I also entered the Aran Cave with a falls inside, Paterno Cave, and Bengaongao Cave.
As far as my preferences are concerned, I would prefer working hours that allows me to attend language courses (although I am flexible).
